Evolution isn’t over…
The next era in human evolution is just beginning. From the sequencing of the human genome, to the current revolution in health optimization, we are a powerful animal on a singular journey towards self-discovery.
Below is a brief overview of where we’ve been for the past 4 million years, and a glimpse into where we’re going…
4 million years ago we acquired the ability to walk on two legs. Bipedalism allowed us to explore new terrain with a reduced energy cost.
Opposable thumbs allowed us to create tools and engineer our environments.
The combination of increased movement capacity and new tools for hunting, fishing, and medicine led to the development of larger brains.
The Agricultural Revolution allowed us to stay in one place, and create the foundation for culture.
The Industrial Revolution moved us into cities, creating new communities and unprecedented innovation. It also laid the foundation for the Technological Revolution..
The Technological Revolution created the foundation for the exponential development of scientific progress, medical breakthroughs, and rapidly emerging industries of internet technology, biomedicine, machine learning, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, quantum computing, and many more…
Today we stand at the intersection of our evolution.
The rapid changes of the Technological Revolution have created unprecedented variance in mental and physical health.
The statistics on public health reveal a society on the precipice of self-destruction and self optimization simultaneously.
Preventable diseases are the leading cause of death…
We are more likely to die from overeating than starvation for the first time in human history..
Unprecedented access to outlets for indulgence are becoming the greatest threat to our survival.
On the other side of the evolutionary road lifespan is increasing, world records at the toughest competitions on the planet are being shattered, and the rise in health optimization businesses is creating a new economy at the edges of our potential to thrive, evolve, and adapt on purpose.
As the divide between new levels of health and the normalization of illness increases we are working to build a global movement to help the next generation access and experience the heights of their own potential.
It’s time to remind the next generation that evolution isn’t over.
We recognize that our youth are in an age of unprecedented change, and that they rely on our mentorship, guidance, and support more today than at any time in history.
Evolution Isn’t Over is an opportunity to guide our young leaders, and to shape the future of health and human potential, together.
What if School Taught Us About Ourselves, First?
In 2019 we started Physiology First to evolve health and education for a new generation.
We turned our performance training center, The Distance Project, into a first of it’s kind health education and optimization campus for youth and families.
Our goal was to build something far beyond “the gym” and create a new paradigm in health and human potential.
Physiology First started by presenting our curriculum at local high schools.
Soon, schools began bringing students to our campus for presentations, workshops, and full day seminars.
We started our Student Strong class to make our staple blend of education-focused exercise available to teens as an after school program. Through a combination of breathing and barefoot training we use exercise as a way to increase body awareness in an age of desensitization. By giving students the skills to navigate their nervous system with a greater degree of agency, we create a new approach to improving mental and physical health through whole body self-development with an emphasis o mentorship and peer-to-peer community support.
The sauna and cold plunge has become a staple for students at our campus. They learn to manage stress and anxiety with a set of internal skills, such as breathing exercises, that they can utilize in any situation that life presents.
Our campus has become a hub for students of all ages to learn about their physiology, first.
The energy at our Physiology First Campus in Freeport, Maine has been building since the day that we opened our doors.
The daily lessons in human potential taught through experience to a passionate group of young leaders, caught the attention of Dr. Rangan Chatterjee in the U.K. Last November he invited me to join him on his podcast Feel Better, Live More.

The podcast appearance made waves in the U.K…
Hundreds of parents, coaches, educators, and healthcare pioneers reached out to learn more about Physiology First. In response to the overwhelming support, we launched our fist U.K campus this September.
Since opening our doors in the U.K we’ve taught dozens of local parents and youth about the power of their physiology through experience.
Our goal is to put Physiology First campuses and programs across the globe…and we need your help to do it!
Evolution Isn’t Over…
